The onset of 2017 sees the advancement of many of the developments in the Fitzrovia area.


TCR Heritage Street Lights

The West End Project works begin to take shape

The West End Project will begin the relocation of the 8 heritage street lights, 4 on either side of the road outside the Heal’s building at 196 Tottenham Court Road, with the works due to commence in February 2017.


London Underground Works

London Underground set to implement several large scale schemes as part of their investment in London over the coming 5 years

The Fitzrovia Partnership attended the London Underground Round Table briefing which sets out the priorities for the next 5 years relating to the investment, station and line works for London Underground.


Elizabeth Line

The Elizabeth Line’s first re train is scheduled to enter passenger service in May this year.

The Elizabeth line, currently being constructed by Crossrail, will transform travel across London, boosting the economy by billions of pounds.

Responding to requests from members The Fitzrovia Partnership has made an application to see Goodge Street station frontage improved to create a fitting entrance for the thriving business, visitor and residential communities in Fitzrovia.
