The campaign will be focussing on fly tipping (in its various forms) from the single black bag dumped on the corner of the road to the large scale house clearance dumped in the back of a carpark area.
The Bank of England’s new Banknote Checking Scheme was launched on 10 October. The Scheme is aimed at retailers and businesses and promotes banknote checking at point of sale through targeted training. Its objective is to reduce the number of counterfeit notes being accepted and to reduce losses to businesses.
TfL want to create a better environment, address poor air quality, support a cultural heartland and thriving business district and deliver improved neighbourhoods for residents.
The T-Charge is an additional £10 daily charge which will apply if you drive an older vehicle that doesn’t meet minimum exhaust emissions standards in the central London Congestion Charge zone, from 07:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. It will come into effect on 23 October 2017.
The Tube strike, set for Thursday 5 October, has been suspended.
