The success of our training scheme to date has led to further courses being rolled out in 2015.
Member benefits recently received include 80 members having completed courses in the recent programme of training sessions, increasing their skill set and gaining certificates in the following courses offered by the BID :
Following on from the success of this year’s sessions. The BID’s 2015 training programme is nearing completion. A calendar for the following courses will be made available in the new year.
The BID will be hosting Project Griffin, a ½ day session, 10am to 1:30pm on 25 February at the British Museum for its members aimed at educating businesses about counter terrorism, crime prevention, and planning for an emergency
Project Griffin is a Counter Terrorism Command led initiative. The goal of the program is to bring together the police, fire brigade, ambulance services, private security industry and other government agencies in deterring and disrupting terrorist and extremist activity.
