The Partnership is dedicated to its desire to deliver a greener and cleaner Fitzrovia.
We have recently installed a further greening vertical planter on the Derwent London 80 Charlotte Street development; equipment is now installed to monitor the benefits of the air purification unit with findings being quantified and to be made available in 2017.
Air Quality Business Breakfast
From events such as our Air Quality Business Breakfast with guest speakers Val Shawcross – Deputy Mayor for Transport, Ben Plowden – TfL’s Director of Strategy and Planning to the initatives below we are impacting the quality of the area’s air and public space through discussion, education and direct action.
The Fitzrovia Partnership’s Clean Streets Scheme aims to positively impact the appearance of the streets in Fitzrovia, achieve compliance with Westminster and Camden Councils’ bags off the street policy, coordinate collections through banded times, and ultimately consolidate vehicle movements to improve local air quality.
The scheme provides members with discounted services for the collection of WEEE items and general waste and a FREE starter kit.
First Mile, on behalf of The Partnership, have switched 25 members to the waste and recycling consolidation scheme in the past month.

FitzOffice Supplies, the service that enables ALL members to make significant financial savings on their stationery needs – whilst helping to reduce the number of delivery vehicles in the area and therefore improving local air quality has seen 1020.52 tonnes of CO2 emissions avoided. This is equivalent to taking 200 cars off the road for a year.
