There are a number of events taking place in central London that may cause some disruption due to the number of people attending and some road closures being in place. The main events taking place will be a Changing of the Guard and the State Opening of Parliament. See road closures between 0630 and 1400 hours.
Permitted development rights allow certain building works and changes of use to be carried out without having to make a planning application. An Article 4 Direction removes permitted development rights for a specific property or area, which means a planning application will be required. The Council has made three Article 4 Directions. These directions are currently in their notification period, with Representations in respect of the Direction able to be made until 15 June 2017 (inclusive).
