MEMBERSHIP: THE FITZROVIA PARTNERSHIP

The Fitzrovia Partnership is committed to sustainable working. Our programmes seek to reduce the individual and collective carbon footprint whilst encouraging green initiatives. Our social sustainability initiatives support our local community, from protecting the rich heritage to charitable support for the local hospital and primary school.

Membership

BID membership is automatically applied to properties in the BID’s geographical area with a rateable value of £160,000 or more.

For businesses with a rateable value below £160,000 or for businesses in Fitzrovia but outside the defined area, they can join as voluntary members. They will receive all the benefits of membership with the exception of the ability to vote during the BID renewal process which takes place every five years.

Through the six work programmes, members benefit from the following activities:

1. VOICE AND REPRESENTATION

Represent the interests of businesses with local and central government, key agencies (e.g. TfL, Metropolitan Police), property owners whilst ensuring priorities reflect needs of local community.

2. ESG – ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL AND GOVERNANCE

Represent the interests of businesses with local and central government, key agencies (e.g. TfL, Metropolitan Police), property owners whilst ensuring priorities reflect needs of local community.

3. ENVIRONMENT AND PLACE

Represent the interests of businesses with local and central government, key agencies (e.g. TfL, Metropolitan Police), property owners whilst ensuring priorities reflect needs of local community.

4. REDUCING COSTS

Represent the interests of businesses with local and central government, key agencies (e.g. TfL, Metropolitan Police), property owners whilst ensuring priorities reflect needs of local community.

5. INSIGHTS

Represent the interests of businesses with local and central government, key agencies (e.g. TfL, Metropolitan Police), property owners whilst ensuring priorities reflect needs of local community.

6. PROMOTION AND COMMUNICATIONS

Represent the interests of businesses with local and central government, key agencies (e.g. TfL, Metropolitan Police), property owners whilst ensuring priorities reflect needs of local community.

Your Membership Fee

The mandatory levy on all eligible businesses is calculated based on your Property’s Rateable Value and varies from year to year. The BID levy is collected annually by Camden Council.
