Amazon to stop accepting Visa credit card payments

From 19 January 2022, Amazon will no longer accept UK-provided Visa credit card payments for Amazon online transactions. High fees of processing Visa credit cards has prompted this decision from Amazon, staing that these fees continue to stay high or increase. Visa debit cards will still be ok to use for Amazon transactions. The two companies, Visa and Amazon, are continuing to discuss their future going forward. Visa credit cards are still eligible for the Christmas period.
