London Cycle Challenge

The Fitzrovia Partnership BID – backing more people on bikes!

As part The Fitzrovia Partnership’s commitment to improving air quality and welling being for those who work and live in the area, we are  proud to announce that we are a official co-promoter and are taking part in the London Cycle Challenge 201. Working with TfL and the London Borough of Camden to support cycling as a sustainable travel mode in London.

The London Cycle Challenge is open to all businesses and individuals who work or live in London. All you have to do is click on our unique link to take part and encourage your colleagues and friends to participate by cycling for 10 minutes or more.

The Challenge is all about participation. Businesses encouraging the highest percentage of staff to take part will be rewarded with enviable titles and great prizes!  There are also plenty of opportunities for individuals to win top prizes for their cycling efforts.  With Evans Cycles and Time Out London as official partners, there will be something for everyone, including VIP tickets, Evans vouchers and Lee Valley Velo Park sessions.

If you or your colleagues haven’t cycled for ages, don’t worry!  You only have to ride a bike for 10 minutes or more for your participation to count towards your team’s score.  This can be anywhere, anytime – to and from work, in the evening or on the weekend, it all counts. Your business will compete with others across the capital, to see who can get the highest percentage of staff cycling.

The Challenge starts next week, 8 – 28 June, so we need your help to encourage participation in your business. We will be distributing posters and literature materials to aid promotion amongst your staff in the coming week. Contact us to get your copies.

Register online now and help us pedal our way to victory.

Let’s be the London BID that gets the most businesses and employees taking part in 2015!

Happy cycling.
