What is a BID?
A Business Improvement District (BID) is a not-for-profit partnership where businesses in a set area have voted to invest together to support cultural and commercial success. Funded through a levy, all of the money is dedicated to projects and services in the neighbourhood.

Our work is centred around four missions: safe and clean, economic growth, sustainability and social value, and placemaking. Together, they reflect what our member businesses and the wider community have told us matters most.

Safe & Clean
We work closely with Camden and Westminster Councils, the MET Police Safer Neighbourhood Team, and First Mile waste management, among others, to make Fitzrovia a great place to live, work, and visit.
Placemaking
We want to create a greener, healthier Fitzrovia, with inclusive and accessible spaces that make Fitzrovia more visible and welcoming. From quick wins such as planting, wayfinding, and small-scale interventions, to flagship transformations.
Sustainability & Social Value
We're working to create a greener, more connected and more resilient Fitzrovia, through meaningful, collective action.
Economic Growth
We support Fitzrovia's businesses to grow, with our broad events and communications programme designed to drive footfall and make the area an attractive place to live, work, and hang out.
