A SUSTAINABLE DISTRICT OF CHOICE

NEW WHITE TEXT BLACK BLOCK TITLE

The Fitzrovia Partnership will place sustainability at the heart of the organisation and believes collaboration will become an essential requirement to drive added-value solutions for business and the wider community.

Our 2022–27 mandate will introduce work programmes that support the BID’s ‘Sustainable District Charter’, setting ambitions that address issues such as climate change, economic vitality and employment.

THREE THEMES

ECONOMIC

GOOD GROWTH

The need to minimise the impact of businesses is both a moral and commercial imperative. Business Improvement Districts deliver collaborative activities which individual businesses often find difficult to achieve. Within a large collective, members have the opportunity to work with one another to benefit their business.

Food Waste Partners Needed

Partner with University of Westminster

The University of Westminster’s Cavendish Living Lab is looking for donations of food waste from Fitzrovia businesses for their exciting sustainability project.

They are looking for venues able to donate any of the following:

  • sea food waste (shells)
  • egg shells
  • coffee waste
  • orange peel
  • avocado peel
  • banana peel

If you are able to donate any of the above. Please contact Alice to express interest.

Managing this area cannot be done piecemeal. It requires a co-ordinated and cohesive approach and this is what The Fitzrovia Partnership does so effectively. The area would look very different without them.
