Fitzrovia Community Grant

The grant is intended for initiatives that demonstrate direct investment in Fitzrovia. Funding is unrestricted, but all recipients must align with our missions and provide full transparency on how funds will be used, and what impact will be achieved. 

The maximum grant that can be allocated per organisation is £1,000 per financial year (1 April-31 March).

The Community Grant is being introduced as a pilot scheme. Its design, process, and outcomes will be reviewed at the end of the pilot to assess effectiveness, community impact, and alignment with our Sustainability and Social Value commitments.

Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons

Delivering paid work experience opportunities for LGBT+ young people aged 15-25. This allocation will fund three 20-hour placements, providing participants with a vital stipend and professional experience.

Fitzrovia Community Centre

Sponsorship of a special one-off workshop with sustainable focus at Fitzrovia Fete, to encourage sustainable practices and teach people about small changes they can make to their everyday lives.

Fitzrovia Youth in Action

Sponsor weekly healthy-living drop ins for young people in Fitzrovia. This will be an expansion of a recently launched service, targeting those who are less active or face barriers to participation, particularly those from BAME backgrounds, inactive girls, and young people at risk of isolation. 

All Souls Primary School

This funding will provide All Souls Primary School’s early years children with opportunities they might not otherwise have to explore their local community, supporting their personal, social and emotional development, early literacy, and understanding of the world. 

Children will visit local businesses, such as a café or shop, experiencing first-hand the people and places that make up their community. These outings will be extended back in the classroom through cooking, craft, and storytelling activities, helping to bring their experiences to life.

PropUp Project CIC 

PropUp Project provides social and sustainable clearance services to the UK film and TV industry. They will to boost their Warren Street operation and open the doors to the community for monthly open days. These open days mean local charities, community groups, youth groups and schools can come and collect resources they need.

Fitzrovia Chapel

Curation, installation, programming and promotion of the Middlesex Memories exhibition. The exhibition will mark twenty years since the hospital was demolished and ten years since the chapel reopened. It will bring together and celebrate the aging Middlesex Hospital community, providing opportunity for reminiscence and remembrance, and to celebrate their beloved hospital in its former chapel.

American International Church

Covering catering costs and project coordination costs for the Community Super clubs. The church plans to expand these events to intentionally invite community partners from various faith and cultural backgrounds across Fitzrovia/Camden who are also working with refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants.

Little Village

This grant will contribute to core running costs. Keeping hubs and warehouses running, coordinating referrals, supporting families through the Family Connections team, and mobilising hundreds of volunteers. 

Friends of Crabtree Fields

Weekly afterschool play sessions for the pupils from All Souls Primary School, providing a mixture of multi-sports and games activities as well as use of the park facilities with two members of staff.

Stage 81 CIC

Stage 81 CIC will deliver a five-week Stand-Up Comedy Course at Fitzrovia Community Centre designed to help local residents build confidence, improve communication skills, and explore creativity through performance. The initiative promotes wellbeing, self-expression, and community connection while offering participants real world performance experience.
