FitzForum: launching our Area Strategy

Last week (14 July), we welcomed members to our FitzForum breakfast meeting, for the launch of our new Area Strategy, Fitzrovia: A Place for People.

Developed over ten months in collaboration with the London Borough of Camden, Westminster City Council, and local stakeholders, the strategy outlines a shared long-term ambition for Fitzrovia's public realm. 

It sets several priorities, driven by the goal to make the neighbourhood more welcoming and accessible, including:

• supporting the long-term vitality of local businesses and communities
• improving gateways and arrival points
• creating greener, and more inviting public spaces
• respecting and working with Fitzrovia's historical character

Through active partnerships and a shared commitment to prioritising people, we can create real transformation to our neighbourhood. We'll use this strategic framework to advocate for long-term investment, whilst continuing to deliver street improvements.

Our FitzForum's offer a periodic check-in with our members, to share what we've been up to, our priorities, and provide opportunities for networking amongst our members.
