Six by Nico's flagship Fitzrovia restaurant reopens with a murder mystery dining experience
The first six-week tasting menu guests will be able to enjoy in the new restaurant is American Murder Mystery, which will transport diners to small-town America, where a decades old murder case has been reopened.
The menu will be running on selected dates until 15 November, where guests get to play detective and try to uncover what happened to Maggie Sawyer.
Every detail has been designed to take guests deeper into the story, as they follow clues, decode messages, and piece together the evidence around the table.
The six-course menu puts a spin on American comfort food, with highlights including Crispy Fried Chicken and Waffle, with buckwheat waffle, smoke bacon, caramel and roast chicken creme; Cuban sandwich with chorizo and smoked ham hough, mojo rojo, battered cornichon and mustard caviar; and New England clam chowder with roasted ling, crab bisque, barbecue corn, rouille, and potato terrine.
Having first opened in 2020, Six by Nico's new look and feel swaps the previous industrial aesthetic for a warmer, more inviting feel. Marrying neutrals with deep reds, and darker accents brought together with new furniture, upholstery, artwork, and lighting.
The open kitchen remains at the heart of the restaurant, giving diners a front-row seat to the action. A new walk-in bar overlooks Charlotte Street and opens onto an expanded terrace, offering drinks and cocktails to guests, without the need for dinner reservations.
We can't wait to welcome visitors back to Six by Nico Fitzrovia, our flagship London restaurant! The refurbishment brings some of that newer, warmer feel to the original London site, while keeping the open kitchen, changing menus, and theatrical side of Six by Nico at its centre.Nico Simeone, Founder of Six by Nico
The refurbishment reflects how Six by Nico has evolved since Fitzrovia first opened, with the group growing from five restaurants in 2020 to 15 six years later, including a second London restaurant at Canary Wharf.
