Deadline soon: Additional restrictions grant
Deadline soon: Additional restrictions grant

Deadline: midnight 16 February

Camden Council will be providing a new round of discretionary grants to provide extended coverage of the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant to businesses not eligible for that grant for reasons including not being the direct business rates payer or a key part of these sectors but not the direct provider of experiences.

A Total fund of £1,500,000 is available with single fixed grant payments of £3,000 paid per business (only one grant per business, not one grant for each location).

To qualify your Business must fit into one of the following definitions under industry sectors:

  • Hospitality definition: a business whose main function is to provide a venue for the consumption and sale of food and drink or support this activity
  • Leisure definition: a business that provides opportunities, experiences and facilities, in particular for culture, recreation, entertainment, celebratory events, days and nights out, betting and gaming or support these activities
  • Accommodation definition: a business whose main lodging provision is used for holiday, travel and other purposes or support these activities

This table sets out types of businesses that are eligible under the sector thresholds for this scheme. The list doesn’t include all the businesses that can be supported by the grant, but are shown as examples. We will monitor demand and may review this list.

For the purposes of the Additional Restriction Grant, applicants must not be eligible for or paid/about to be paid the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant (OHLG).
