Camden Council takes tough action to tackle phone boxes blight on Tottenham Court Road

We are delighted to hear that after years of lobbying and working closely with the London Borough of Camden and BT Group to remove phone boxes that are in poor condition and attract anti-social behaviour, the London Borough of Camden has served a breach of condition notices for the removal of 19 phone kiosks on Tottenham Court Road. Our COO Lee Lyons said “Our street team identify and rreportsdaily issues relating to the phone boxes, often removing more than 100 prostitute cards per day. I’d like to thank the London Borough of Camden Enforcement team and our operational team for their hard work and tenacity led by Mick Atkinson”. We look forward to supporting the process for the removal of the phone boxes and making the streets of fitzrovia cleaner.
