Camden Jobs and Skills event – have a stall

Thursday 19 May, 10am – 4pm
New recruitment event to promote your vacancies – all Camden businesses invited to have a stall

Good Work Camden, the council’s employment support programme, seeks to support residents into good and sustainable employment.

Next month Good Work Camden is hosting its first live Jobs and Skills event for both employers and jobseekers in the borough to come together, have valuable face to face conversations, and look at how you could work together in future. We all know recruitment has been increasingly tough for employers to fill the roles they need to recover and take the load off existing team members. They are calling for businesses to have a stall. This is a really great chance for your business, especially hospitality, to stand out to new jobseekers, host interviews there and then, find out what jobseekers can offer in terms of skills and experience, and learn what they’re looking for in a workplace.

Camden is calling on local businesses to have a stall at the first Camden Jobs and Skills event as part of their plans to support businesses and help them meet their employment needs, as well as support qualified and committed residents into local vacancies. They are looking for employers from a range of sectors to host a stall from retail, hospitality, professional services etc.

To express your interest, please contact goodwork@camden.gov.uk with subject title ‘Camden Jobs and Skills Event’. In your email, please state your business name, sector, whether you have available vacancies to promote, and short summary of each role.
