Christmas Collections
It’s that time of the year again and if you have scheduled collections, First Mile continues collecting through the holiday period. First Mile can even collect on Christmas Day and New Years Day but they ask all customers to book these in so they can reduce road-miles and ensure drivers only go to customers who need a collection.
Book your Christmas Day or New Year’s Day Collection. All other scheduled collections will happen as normal.
Christmas Tree Recycling
First Mile can recycle your Christmas Tree. Order a Christmas Tree recycling sack by logging in to the customer portal. When ready, put the tree in the sack (without the decorations) and book your free collection. They will be collecting trees from Friday 7 – Wednesday 12 January 2022.
January 1st – Price Change Reminder
As with the rest of the waste and recycling industry, First Mile review prices annually and customer prices for some services will change on January 1st 2022. There is more information on their blog, with support on how you can offset any changes by better utilisation of your services.
Recycling Certificates 2021
In January 2022, First Mile will send your total recycling and carbon savings for any services you used in 2021, and your embeddable recycling scores and data will be updated. In the meantime, you can see how you are doing by logging in to the customer portal and clicking recycling reports.
