From 1 October 2021 a new law will come into effect with new requirements for labelling of Pre-packed for direct sale foods (PPDS foods). Food businesses will need to clearly label all ingredients and allergens in their pre-packed food.
The interpretation of the term “PPDS” and which foods fall into this category has proved to be challenging.
