The latest West End Project briefing has confirmed that the new park in Alfred Place, which will include seating and a new children’s play area, will be completed in November 2021.
The park will provide an oasis of calm in the hub of Camden’s West End. Complete with places for children to play, lawns to relax on and a meandering pathway to enjoy. The space will include a variety of different plants which are biodiverse to attract birds, bees and butterflies. Stepping stones will create cut throughs and all the mature trees will be retained. Access to businesses on the western side will be maintained and new cycle stands installed.
The park will also be available to hire as event space.
