Royal Mail strikes

Royal Mail have announced industrial action on the following days:

  • Friday 26 August
  • Wednesday 31 August
  • Thursday 8 September
  • Friday 9 September

Services are likely to be affected during this period and afterwards as Royal Mail try to work through the backlog. Special delivery and tracked 24 parcels will take priority, along with COVID tests and special delivery letters, though no standard letter delivery or door dropping of items will take place.

If you are planning on sending any addressed letters, do allow extra time for these to be processed and delivered and bear in mind that Royal Mail’s door drops services will be delayed.
