TfL have proposed expanding the ULEZ to go London wide in 2023, as it believes this will tackle and reduce toxic levels of air pollution. A consultation has opened for people to share their views. Vehicles that don’t meet ULEZ pollution standards will be deterred from entering the ULEZ with a £12.50 a day charge, that will remain the same price if this expansion goes ahead.
The zone as it is now covers all areas within the North and South Circular Roads. The North Circular (A406) and South Circular (A205) roads are not in the zone, and operates 24 hours a day. – more info on current ULEZ
