UK inflation rises to 10.1%

UK Inflation has risen to 10.1% due to mostly rising cost of food and drink, the ONS has published. Inflation hasn’t been in the double digits since 1982. Many other factors have played a role in rising inflation such as the war in Ukraine, energy costs and costs of raw materials. The Bank of England is predicting a recession by the end of the year, after another expected inflation increase.
