Sustainability in Fitzrovia

The Fitzrovia Partnership’s (TFP) is developing a business-led sustainability strategy for the area. We are creating a strategy which aims to:

  1. Support a thriving local economy
  2. Deliver more social value and
  3. A better environment.

The sustainability strategy will support The Fitzrovia Partnership and its members in making positive impact on the environments and the lives of people who live, visit or work in Fitzrovia. It also aims to contribute to businesses existing sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies and corporate reporting.

The sustainability strategy is being co-created with stakeholders, businesses, residents and visitors to deliver a vibrant, green and thriving place for all.

Join us at a stakeholder drop-in session

The Fitzrovia Partnerhship is hosting a drop-in session on 24 April at The Building Society, 55 Whitfield Street, 12pm – 7pm for all stakeholders. Local residents, visitors and workers are invited to attend and come share their views on priorities for this strategy. If you’re unable to attend the drop-in session, please share your thoughts by completing the survey.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) are a set of 17 global development goals which were set to address key global issues by 2030, such as poverty, the climate crisis, poor health amongst others. We have chosen to use the UN SDGs as the strategy’s framework as they consider sustainability through an economic, environmental, and social lens which we can adapt locally to Fitzrovia. By providing businesses, residents, and visitors with a shared set of priorities, challenges can be addressed in partnership.
