Camden is consulting businesses on its budget proposals for 2022/23. The Review of Medium-term Financial Strategy report sets out an overview of the council’s financial position and provides details of the challenges they face, and progress made on delivering the final year of the current three-year strategy.
The Council is facing an unprecedented and challenging outlook following the global pandemic. The report presents an updated overview of the Council’s financial position as it seeks to support its citizens, communities and businesses through the COVID-19 crisis. During the crisis the Council stepped in and mobilised staff, organisations and volunteers to ensure that the most vulnerable have homes, food, social contact and the financial support they need. At the same time, they have continued to provide those critical services that they know Camden communities rely on.
