The Fitzrovia Community Centre is calling on the community to help support a number of Afghan families who are still staying in hotels in the area, and urgently need good quality second-hand scooters for children aged 3 to 12 years, buggies, books, toys and other items such as brand new clothing and hygiene products. Many of the families have several small children and are unable to get out and about. Being more mobile will enable them to connect with the community and experience more of London and life in the UK. Any donation, large or small, is welcome and much appreciated.
