From 15 January until mid-May 2022, TfL will close the Bank branch of the Northern line between Kennington and Moorgate to support the delivery of the Bank Station Upgrade Project. A new track, connection of new tunnels and signalling tech will be installed, as well as more spacious platforms and cross passages. Measures will be in place to assist passengers during the disruption such as a new temporary bus service following the tube route overground, and an enhanced Charing Cross line service.
