There has been an increase in phone snatching incidents in the local area and the West End. The thieves are snatching phones and gettting away on scooters/ e-scooter/ bikes. They target busy streets, tubes and mainline stations, and come up behind victims on pavements, or grab from the road. Police are carrying out daily operations to watch out, and remind the public to put valuables away.
