Plans to make UK the world’s leading financial services hub

Rishi Sunak has announced plans for helping the UK to lead in the global financial services industry. In his latest speech on 1 July at Mansion House, the Chancellor announced plans to require companies, pension schemes, financial services firms and their investment products to report on the impact they are having on the climate and environment – as well as the risks and opportunities facing their business.

He outlines how the government is going further to ensure the financial sector remains competitive now we have left the EU, as well as how the sector can stay at the forefront of tech innovation, and the global market.
