The SIA has published guidance to support security professionals working on doors in various industries, such as retail, on how to protect themselves and others. As lockdown restrictions are eased, door supervisors will be returning to work at licensed and nighttime entertainment premises and having not worked in that environment for a while, some training and guidance may be needed to keep them up to date on best practice.
It can be a difficult job, dealing with members of the public in challenging circumstances and often placing yourselves in harm’s way. The SIA have produced guidance on best practice to help door security professionals continue to protect the public and keep themselves safe.
