Alfred Place Park
The park is coming together well, with plants, trees and seating in place. It is expected to open in early 2022. Some road closures will be needed for the park to be completed on the following dates:
Alfred Place between Store Street and just south of the Law Courts will be closed from the 10th November – 24th December.
Chenies Street will be closed between Alfred Place and North Crescent from the 3rd January 2022 – 17th January 2022. Access to Alfred Place will be via Store Street only.
Store Street will be closed between Alfred Place and South Crescent from the 22nd January –2nd February 2022. Access to Alfred Place will be via Chenies Street only.
Pocket parks
Capper Street: Is nearly complete, the main features are in place, the last layer of surface will be added at a later date. Good weather, not too cold or wet, is needed for this surfacing.
Bedford Avenue: Works to begin on Monday 6 December and expected to finish in a week
Huntley Street: Pocket park almost complete, lighting needs to be installed
Grafton Way
Resurfacing of Grafton Way is complete and the road is back open. West End Project thanks everyone for their patience.
