Changes to lateral flow testing and travel on arrival to UK

From 4am, 24 October there will be a new simplified travel two-tier system, and arrivals into England who are fully vaccinated, along with most under 18s, who have not been in a red list country in the last 10 days will be able to take the cheaper lateral flow test on or before day 2 of their arrival, instead of a PCR test. Many countries were removed from the red list recently with seven remaining:

  • Colombia
  • Dominican Republic
  • Ecuador
  • Haiti
  • Panama
  • Peru
  • Venezuela
