Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) changes are now in effect, where the existing ULEZ has been expanded up to, but not including, the North and South circular roads. Some vehicles will need to pay a fee to drive within these new borders. The expansion will aim to clean up London’s toxic air. Back in 2017 when first announced, only 39% of vehicles in inner London met the required cleaner vehicle standards. Today this has risen to 87%, highlighting the scheme’s effectiveness already in accelerating the switch to cleaner vehicles and cleaning up London’s air. Check your vehicle.
