The Met Office has issued a rare ‘Amber’ warning of extreme weather in relation to the temperatures likely to be experienced from this Sunday 17 July and into the Monday and Tuesday. Heatwaves can become uncomfortable and unsafe; take a slower pace especially when using the underground, limit your exposure to the sun, stay indoors where possible and stay hydrated and look out for those who are vulnerable. Please stay well hydrated and shelter from the sun, this is alert is a ‘danger to life’ notice.
