By consolidating services with fewer providers, this approach helps to reduce traffic in the area, lower environmental impact, and support more efficient and sustainable waste management across Fitzrovia. This aligns with our shared commitment to maintaining a cleaner neighbourhood.

From 1 April 2026, businesses will benefit from discounted rates across all First Mile recycling and waste services, giving members more control over how waste is managed. These improved rates apply to both current and newly joining members, making this the ideal time for businesses to sign up and start benefiting from savings.

These new member‑exclusive rates are designed to make high‑quality recycling services more affordable and easier to tailor to your business needs.

Members of The Fitzrovia Partnership will now receive:

• 56% off general waste sacks / 45% off general waste bins
• 62% off mixed recycling sacks / 54% off mixed recycling bins
• 55% off food recycling caddies / 48% off food recycling bins

These discounts are compared with First Mile’s non‑BID prices and offer strong value across your full range of services.

How can my business join the recycling and waste collection service? 

Businesses can join the service by contacting Hannah Goldsmith, Account Manager at First Mile. Please confirm your membership with The Fitzrovia Partnership when making your enquiry, and you will be guided through the next steps of the onboarding process.

What does this mean for my business?

If you currently order free BID recycling sacks or receive BID‑subsidised bin collections, these will end on 1 April. All other First Mile services you order directly will become cheaper from 1 April under the new member rates.

How do I receive my new pricing from 1 April?

Your new discounted pricing will be applied automatically from 1 April. You can view your updated prices and place orders via the First Mile portal.

How do I log in to the portal if I haven’t used it before?

Enter your email address on the login page and select ‘Forgot your password or logging in for the first time?’ to set up access.
