The Fitzrovia Partnership has an Environmental Officer who informs businesses and the Local Authority of waste issues and solution.
Our street warden team is provided by My Local Bobby who are experts in creating a safe and secure neighbourhood.
As part of our street Warden team, The Fitzrovia Partnership has a dedicated Environmental Officer who informs businesses and the Local Authority of waste issues and solution.
Our 100% electric street cleaning machine is run by our partner, Walkers Cleaning. The Fitz-Rover collects on average 25 bags of loose waste per day and jet-washes footpaths to remove stains caused by spilled waste or poor management of bag contents.
We target specific waste hot-spots, but please contact us if you think that there are particular areas which need extra attention.
This service supplements the cleaning provided by Camden and Westminster Councils.
The Fitzrovia Partnership has recently conducted a Waste and Recycling Survey across all types of business in Fitzrovia. The purpose was to better understand the requirements of businesses with regards their waste management, such as suppliers, costs, preferred collection times, recycling iimprovements etc.
It is easy to report waste issues in the area via the app Love Clean Streets.
The Council is very responsive when receiving a notification.
Download the Love Clean Streets app and select ‘Camden’ as you ‘Home’ Authority.
Enables you to report issues on the streets of Westminster such as fly tipping and damaged pavements, to the Council. It’s the quickest and easiest way to report an issue.
Sustainability is an increasingly important factor for a multi-campus organisation in Fitzrovia but we can’t do it on our own. To deliver sustainable solutions, we need to work collectively as an area. The Fitzrovia Partnership is making this happen.
