Find Fitzrovia | Installation | London Festival of Architecture 2026

June 1, 2026

Find Fitzrovia is a series of gateway wayfinding installations by Adalberto Lonardi Studio, the result of a design competition in partnership with the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) 2026.

Long celebrated as London’s bohemian heart, Fitzrovia is home to a diverse mix of designers, architects, restaurants and retailers. As a neighbourhood where culture, collaboration, and community naturally come together, the area is a perfect reflection of this year’s LFA theme of ‘Belonging’.

Find Fitzrovia encourages visitors to discover Fitzrovia’s unique locations, from the BT Tower to the culinary world of Charlotte Street. Designed by Adalberto Lonardi, the colourful totems respond to Fitzrovia’s urban heritage and serve as welcoming landmarks at three distinct locations.

Use each totem as a starting point to explore and celebrate Fitzrovia’s historic streets, cultural landmarks, and independent businesses.

Warren Street – Located just outside Warren Street Underground Station, follow this totem to explore independent cafés on Warren Street and relax in Alfred Place Gardens.

Whitfield Gardens – Located north of Goodge Street Underground Station on Tottenham Court Road, this totem will lead you to the inner streets of Fitzrovia, from the culinary scene on Charlotte Street to the historic Fitzrovia Chapel.

Great Titchfield Street – Located at the junction where Great Titchfield Street and Oxford Street meet, follow this totem to get involved at the Fitzrovia Community Centre and explore the galleries on Mortimer Street.

Find Fitzrovia is on view in June and throughout the Summer of 2026.
