We’ve recently refreshed the street furniture along Charlotte Street with a new coat of specialist anti‑stick paint. This upgrade is designed to keep the area looking cleaner for longer by helping to prevent stickers from building up on lamp columns, bollards and street signs.
As part of the project, we repainted:
-
13 lamp columns
-
25 sign posts
-
5 utility boxes
-
8 traffic light columns
-
3 bollards
-
3 feeder pillars
-
1 CCTV column
These improvements build on the newly completed resurfacing of Charlotte Street, marking another step forward in our long‑term ambition to enhance Fitzrovia’s character. By investing in the upkeep and presentation of our public spaces, we’re helping to create a more welcoming, attractive environment for everyone who works and spends time in the district.
You can see some of the refreshed street furniture in the photos below, highlighting the difference this work is already making.
