SIX WORK PROGRAMMES 2022 > 2027

Welcome to 'Fitz&Sits' in Fitzrovia

Fitz&Sits is the outcome of a design competition that challenged emerging architects, designers, and artists to create seating that is innovative, sustainable, inclusive, and relates to Fitzrovia – past and present.

The result: nine striking benches forming a trail through the district—each one an invitation to pause, connect, and savour the moment.

Sponsored by local businesses and launched as part of LFA2025, this creative installation embraces the theme of “Voices,” offering space for storytelling, dialogue, and community connection. Each bench reflects the diverse people, stories, and identities that shape Fitzrovia’s unique character.

Follow the trail—and boost your step count by 2,000 while you’re at it!
